Big Creek Greenway Total length of the Big Creek Greenway, from Webb Bridge Road to Mansell Road, is approximately 6.2 miles (10 kilometers). Scarecrow Harvest – October 2008 Locally made scarecrows sit sentinel on Main Street, and watch the festivities including hayrides, folk music, and other fall fun. Be a part of it all and visit Alpharetta in October.

4th of July Celebration - July 2009 Wills Park is the place to be for the 4th of July! Live music and games for the kids, as well as a gorgeous fireworks show in the evening.
7th Annual Youth Fishing Derby - July 2009 Children ages 5-12 can fish for the day, and also fish for the prizes for longest fish and most fish caught.
56th Annual Old Soldiers Day Parade & Road Race - August 2009 This event is kicked off by a memorial service in front of City Hall, followed by a parade, and capping off with a Race on Old Milton Parkway (at Wills Park, near the City Pool).
